Jerry Tahajian

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Geri well, but it is through conversations with her husband Jerry, that I have come to witness a love a husband had for his wife. I have been privileged to share in heartfelt moments as he talks about her. I am grateful he shared this web site me and my family so that we can pass it on. I am grateful that I can have the chance to know Geri.

Geri was a special person. Geri and her loving husband Gerald Tahajian were/are true friends of the community. I miss her smile and optimistic perspective. She was a true advocate for reading and leaning.
My quote to honor my sweet friend Geri is:
“The more that you READ, the more things you will KNOW. The more that you LEARN, the more places you’ll GO.” Dr. Seuss, whose Birthday is March 2❤️
Geri was a good friend of the Arnie Nixon Library CSUF.❤️📚

Civility

YOUR MIND IS THE ONLY THING YOU CONTROL EXCLUSIVELY. DON’T GIVE IT AWAY TOO FREELY THROUGH USELESS ARGUMENTS.
Geri had the very unique characteristic of always being nice to everyone even though she didn’t always agree with what another person said. Geri never spoke ill of anyone and never repeated negative news about someone that she learned about from others. Geri respected everyone and learned from listening to others. Geri was always upbeat, positive, cheerful, kind and understanding, even with strangers.
